Data we collect
We collect account identity, business data, schedules, punches, technical security information, and the device location at every punch.
Optional Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your account identifier, verified email address and basic profile information, such as your name and picture when available. We use them to authenticate you and create or link your Carras Shift account. We do not receive your Google password or request Gmail, Calendar, Drive or contacts access. You can revoke the connection in your Google Account; this does not delete your Carras Shift account or records. For access or deletion questions, contact the support email below; some work records remain subject to the business’s instructions and retention obligations.
Location
We do not continuously or covertly track location. Location is requested at clock-in, break start or end, and clock-out. We retain coordinates and accuracy; when a work site is configured, we also retain the geofence result and approximate distance for audit.
Use and retention
We use data to provide the service, maintain security, generate hours reports, and follow the business's instructions. Original events are retained for integrity and audit under business policy and legal obligations.
